Why is Apple the only tech company that makes unique products? All the other big ones seem to just drop in behind Apple after they invent something...

There's plenty of good things being produced by non-apple companies. Yeah apple makes some good things, but they're not the be all and end all on electronics.

4. Those getting pissy at people who are calling Apple out on this or are blaming the customer since Apple has it in their EULA that they collect data so it's no big deal should consider that if the switch to turn of Data Roaming FAILED and people were charged up the wazoo - people would be demanding refunds for that data and would demand a fix.
But this has nothing to do with data roaming and it wasn't something that caused money to be spent. Bad comparison.

Because the promotion of homosexuality is detrimental to a society and the people who promote it know this. For example, the mere announcement of a gay history curriculum causes conflicts such as the one in this thread and especially moreso in the real world. Instead of fighting about such stupid things as this, our school system should be heavily decentralized so that you can decide whether or not your child learns about homosexual history by simply selecting a non-political, non-psychologically damaging school in your area and everything would be fine and kept separate, but no, the people who run everything love to just mash everybody into one big public school system and slowly change the rules to cause people to fight all because of what is essentially 4% of the population.

Black berries now touch screen phones are really good. I loved my black berry... Hell i miss it. RIM makes a great smart phone, they are still holding strong to the one thing google and apple want most: Enterprise. ( I think if it ever leaves RIM it will go to Windows Phone.

Well yea... I mean but they ultimately want the money from users. What is it, 20-25 bucks? I'm assuming there are at least 100,000 tetherers. I mean... that's lowballing it by a huge margin, but that's already 2-2.5 million right there on TOP of the data bill we HAVE to have for owning a smartphone. They know what they're doing.

I typically buy paid apps, so I don't actually see too many iAds and was curious what ads are out there.
Although I am not in marketing, some of the best creative wit is applied to advertising and I enjoy experiencing a well executed ad. This is a great way for me to check out ad campaigns, even when the campaign has been retired (example, the McRib).
This looks like a great library of iAds that can stimulate the creative juices of folks who need to get their heads around this medium as an ad delivery platform. My limited experience with iAds, is that I only saw two ads (some sports related personal hygiene product and the Nissan Leaf). I never saw all these other Ad campaigns and thought the iAd system had no traction with companies.
With a library of Ads to review, a creative type can decide for themselves what Ad approaches get their attention and what don't work.

This will be a real boon the Mac Developers... First it makes it easy for Apple to determine who is eligible, if you are in the App Store, you are in.
Secondly when they announce the awards, the benefit to the developers will be more significant as people will be able to link right to them in the Apple App Store and download/install them.
I think it will end up being a real good thing for those developers partake in it.
I don't have much confidence in developers who eschew the App Store for their applications anyways, as in almost all cases it is a bad business move. I appreciate the business savvy of developers and companies who realize what a real advantage the app store model is, especially if you have a strong product.

It seems pretty much impossible that volume sold for products in your niche went down... Perhaps your volume went down, but what that most likely tells me is before you were better at marketing your product than competitors, but now given equal footing as others, people are choosing some competitors over you instead.

I don't get why people would get so worked up over that. Is it weird for a pediatrician to ask if the gun is locked up? Sure, but I don't think it crosses any boundaries.
I don't see how people condone other people asking intrusive questions.
Now provide information on gun safety as part of a package of being information that helps people become responsible parents, but to be perfectly honest, what I own or do not own (as long as it is legal) is no ones business but my own and my families.

Were this true, you would realize that there are fifty states each with their own crimes and with unique elements of those crimes. It would be difficult to make a blanket statement that OP committed "retail theft."

Uh, no... the iPhone 4 was called the iPhone 4 because it was the 4th version of the iPhone (not because it came after 3 in 3G). If the next iPhone is called the 4S, that'd be the 5th iPhone model. So the next one after that would be called the iPhone 6.
