I've never seen an iBook that looked grey even after all the scuffing. I've got an iBook and it still looks white under all lighting conditions.
u must take really good care of yours. ive seen many people around campus whose iBooks have turned an odd shade of grey or brown...i guess dirt gets caught in the scratches

i would like this. i enjoy the beatles and would love to be more easily able to explore their music, and while i might not purchase them all through iTunes getting the previews would be very helpful. :)

They make all of Nikons sensors, even the high end D3S and D3X dSLRs ones. They also made (or make?) Canon point and shoot sensors; at least as of a few years ago. Sony was one of the first with backlit CMOS as well.
Oh, and I think Pentax, if you want to consider them a camera compay, uses Sony sensors.
Aw man I definitely can't wait now! We're in April so not too long for WWDC to see the preview or whatever.
I hope they have a new notification system going, yet I feel if so, they'll wait until the official announcement (in the fall) to unleash that. Either way I'm extremely excited and hoping for a true revolution (I'll settle for evolution if iOS 5 is amazing) with the iPhone 5!

... I don't know how processor hungry remote control and front row are, but I do know these users require the most power out of their machines...
The remote and Front Row use essentially no system resources when they are not in use. So they do not take away any processor power or anything else when people are working on power hungry projects. So that's not the reason they were omitted.
So far the best answer I've heard is that the tower will often be under a desk where the remote wouldn't work because it needs a line of sight, but that still doesn't explain why they don't allow it as a custom option.

I think that the more, the merrier.
I'd would be cool to keep the hype about the iPod high, including a completely new funcionality in mp3 players. IMHO, it would capitalize more sales to Apple and a whole knew interest in iPods.

This would persuade more to get the new iPod more than the ability to play full screen movies.... all the rumours around the 6G are quite interesting, lets hope it plays out into something that lives up to them.

I wonder how long those other batteries (the ones that failed of course) have been running because mine has lasted 2 years without any problems.
Interestingly that my father was telling me about the Dell recall and said that the info he read mentioned Apple. I took him seriously but was going to wait for an Apple recall to be confirmed.
Edit: Well c**p, looks like I shall have to call Apple as my computer is eligible but the battery is not even though it falls within the range.

If the will of colonies wanted to be there own country and want to govern themselves, sure it is important. The issue with the taxes was not that they didn't want to pay taxes, but had no representation when Britain implemented the taxes upon the colonies. Hence the saying, " No taxation without representation".

Thanks so much! Yea, I'm very impressed by the high ISO, although I think the snow might be helping it blend a bit.
I wish I spent more time consciously framing shots, and waiting for the right moment to snap pictures. This photo I think would have been much better if I waited for those two boys to leave the frame, and if I didn't cut her legs off.

Well, the title says it all. I had to reinstall the app. I got the error "not enough memory" everytime I started iTunes.

I feel like I must visit Vancouver and Canada in general, as I see so many great photos in this thread from here.
Canada is sweet! I'm slowing planning a road trip across Canada from end to end. I'd love to visit places further north but I'll have to stick around close HWY 1 and major cities.
Vancouver is neat but it's UBER EXPENSIVE!!!!! In my opinion that is. I feel everything is overpriced and the city doesn't help out much.

The legendary butcher cover.
My brother in law bought the regular cover "Yesterday and Today" album for 25 cents at a garage sale, but underneath the placid regular cover was this gory one.
He then called our friend who owned a local used record shop. The record store owner urged him not to peel off the front image, even though my brother in law was curious as to what may be underneath that wholesome photo of the Beatles. Despite its estimated value at that time (early 90's) being $1,000 dollars, he steamed off the regular cover to reveal the butcher cover and thus dropped the value of the LP by half the amount. The record shop owner was distraught!
The most sought after cover is the censored "safe" one with this gore hiding underneath it. Today a cover like this, with all the blood and gore, would not upset anyone.

The record store I used to frequent back in the day, did have an original (claimed it was purchased at a store, even though many collectors refute that was even possible). i like Apple because they stick to their guns. The guys that work there must be really smart so if they think that Flash is detrimental to the computer experience they want to offer, I trust them. They might be abusing their power, but, hey, it's all for bettering the future of computing.

Who the hell wants to watch movie on an iPod. You can't even watch 2 hours of video on the current iPod...think...the battery like will be even WORSE with a larger screen?!?!?:eek:
I want a merom macbook pro...right now!!!!:mad: I might buy a freeken dell if i have to wait any longer...and I hate windows... I am hoping they will update it on the website tomorrow...tues. sept. 5th....not likely though since they will need a new logic boards because they soldered the core duo chips in...how stupid. Hopefully they will make some other updates since they have to re-do stuff anyway.
Who cares about a new nano also...the current one is fine
